Summary

A product-minded technical leader with over 20 years of strategic and personnel management, leveraging experience in software engineering, programming, analysis, and web development. Proven track record in transforming team morale and productivity to exceed leadership goals.

I’ve managed technical teams for over 20 years; I was a software engineer/web developer for 10 years before that.

As a manager, my goals are to establish process if there is none, and to ensure that each engineer is fulfilled and has a career path to pursue that aligns with the company’s objectives.

As a technical leader, my goal is to collaborate with Product/Marketing, Design/UX, and Executive teams to inform what we do so that we, as a team, are doing the right work for what the organization needs, and ultimately to the benefit of the end user.

I value transparency, integrity, and facts and strive to be an empathetic, forward-thinking, and challenging leader. Engineers are not batteries in a machine, and I am not their overlord; we complement each other. This mutual respect is why my teams thrive.
